- Our preferred form of income verification is the most recent tax return. However, 30 days of consecutive pay stubs may also be accepted.
- Household income is always considered, including the earnings of both parents, stepparents, and any other adults over the age of 18 residing in the home, when applicable.
- If parents or guardians are separated, income information will be requested from the parent responsible for paying for the service(s). When fees are divided between both parties, each parent must complete a separate grant or scholarship application.
- We do not require income verification if the child is residing with foster parents.
- Under no circumstance will a payment be sent directly to a family.
- Grant utilization period: Timeframe for use of funds will be determined based on the specific grant.
- Application limit: Clients may submit a maximum of one grant application within a six-month period.
- Use of funds: Approved funding must be used solely for the purpose specified in the grant request.
- Application deadline: Applications are due every Monday.
- Review process: The grant committee reviews applications each Wednesday.
- Notification: Applicants will be informed of the committee’s decision within the following week.
